As a part of our curriculum, we support our students in supplementing classroom learning with practical, real-world experiences through industrial visits.

An industrial visit to Titan Company Ltd., Chikkaballapur, was organized for 39 students of the BBA department. The visit was led by Assistant Professors Tejashwini along with Asst Prof Reshma T. S. The team departed from the college campus at 7:30 AM and reached the industry premises by 9:00 AM.

Upon arrival, the necessary formalities were completed, and all participants attended a training session. Ms. Rajavarthini, Senior Executive – HR, Titan Company Ltd., provided insights into Titan Eye Wear and emphasized the safety measures to be followed while entering the production shop floor.

Students were divided into two batches for a guided tour of the Lens and Frame Departments. The visit enabled them to understand the basic materials and manufacturing processes involved in the production of spectacles, sunglasses, and lenses.

Following the tour, the industry provided a working lunch. Post lunch, Mr. Vinayak Bhat, Divisional Manager – Manufacturing & Factory Head, Titan Company Ltd., addressed the students. He shared valuable insights into the growth of the manufacturing sector in India, further enriching the students’ learning experience.

After the industrial visit, the group proceeded to the Isha Foundation, Chikkaballapur, where students had the opportunity to relax and immerse themselves in cultural and spiritual activities. The team departed for Bangalore at 5:00 PM and reached the college campus by 7:30 PM.

The visit was highly educational and provided students with practical exposure to industrial operations, enhancing their understanding of manufacturing processes and industry practices.
